Avenga is seeking a Middle-Strong Node.js Engineer in Argentina to own evolving existing backend systems into a resilient, low-latency AWS setup across multiple regions. You will work on complex distributed systems and shape technical decisions while collaborating with Web, Mobile, and Product teams in an Agile environment.

The role requires 5+ years of backend experience with Node.js/TypeScript, strong AWS/Kubernetes and Kafka expertise, and solid SQL knowledge.

Formación

5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Experience building cloud-native, multi-region AWS deployments (EKS/Kubernetes).
Deep expertise in event-driven architecture and Kafka.
Strong knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Fluent Spanish and intermediate English.

Responsabilidades

Lead the migration and deployment of backend systems into a highly available, multi-region AWS environment.
Design and evolve scalable Event-Driven Architecture solutions using Kafka.
Build and maintain reliable backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through Clean Architecture and engineering best practices.
Work closely with Web, Mobile, and Product teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, technical planning, and production releases.
Identify technical risks and drive improvements across system performance, resilience, and reliability.
