EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join the migration team, focusing on decomposing a legacy .NET Framework 4.8/VB.NET desktop application into ASP.NET Core back-end services on Kubernetes. The project starts with the high-risk data layer rewrite using EF Core against a multi-tenant PostgreSQL schema with Row-Level Security.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend .NET experience on production systems.
• Hands-on REST API delivery for real frontends in a team.
• Experience with containerised deployments (Docker).
• Strong C# and ASP.NET Core (Current) skills.
• EF Core migrations, global filters, concurrency control.
• OAuth2/OIDC with Microsoft.Identity.Web and JWT tenant middleware.

Responsabilidades

• Decompose a legacy desktop app into modern backend services.
• Design and implement backend components aligned to architecture.
• Define scalable data access for multi-tenant scenarios.
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality.
• Analyze legacy logic to ensure parity with new services.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and direction.
• Investigate and resolve issues across migration lifecycle.
