Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Unified Detection Team to contribute to detection features and build robust software.

You will write clean code in Python/Go/Java, work with AWS, Kubernetes, Grafana, and participate in code reviews to improve the system's reliability and security.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of experience developing software, with growing proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with observability or monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, or similar).
• Developing understanding of distributed systems, cloud environments (AWS or similar), and containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, secure coding foundations, and automated testing practices.
• Curiosity about cybersecurity, malware analysis, or threat detection is a bonus.
