RemoteVA seeks a skilled Cabinet Designer specialized in Mosaic software to create custom cabinetry, read site plans, and produce detailed shop drawings for production. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure designs are precise and manufacturable.

The role requires proficiency in Mosaic, CAD/CAM concepts, and strong knowledge of cabinetry construction. Reading architectural drawings and adapting designs to site conditions is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Wood Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of cabinet design experience in woodworking or related industry.
• Proven expertise in Mosaic software for cabinet design and production.
• Experience reading and interpreting site plans and architectural drawings.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop custom cabinetry using Mosaic software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Generate cut lists, CNC programs, and shop drawings for production.
• Read and interpret site plans, architectural drawings, and specifications to ensure designs fit project requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and production staff to translate design concepts into manufacturable products.
• Revise and update designs based on client feedback or site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines.
• Maintain organized records of design files, revisions, and project documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in design and production workflows.
