Job summary

Kavak is seeking a Data & Analytics Developer to build end-to-end analytics solutions. You will design resilient data pipelines, standardize open storage formats, and enable embedded analytics using DuckDB within ETL workflows.

Role requires strong SQL, PostgreSQL, and experience with cloud platforms like Snowflake or SAP data sources. You will work with Databricks/Spark for distributed processing and contribute to scalable analytics across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Power BI data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
• Strong SQL skills with relational and analytical data.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based platforms; SAP HANA/SAP data sources.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline design: Build robust data pipelines in Python using Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Open storage management: Standardize storage with Parquet, Iceberg, and Delta Lake for cross-cloud use.
• Embedded analytics: Use DuckDB with Python for local, fast analytics in ETL workflows.
• Database operations: Design and optimize production PostgreSQL schemas; use SQLite for embedded/local storage.
• Distributed compute: Scale ETL and analytics with Databricks or Apache Spark.
