Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major mining and industrial infrastructure projects in San Juan, Argentina. The role requires proven copper mining experience, including heap leaching platforms and chemical processing facilities, and a strong background in project execution and contractor management.

Based on site in San Juan, the role focuses on delivery oversight across all project phases, with emphasis on safety, quality and stakeholder

Formación

• Minimum 15 years of proven experience in mining and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory proven experience in copper mining and related base metals projects.
• Mandatory proven experience in heap leaching platforms / leach pads and mining process facilities.
• Engineering degree in one of Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Mining fields.
• Bilingual English and Spanish with full professional proficiency.
• Ability to lead meetings, presentations and reporting in English.
• Experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary teams on remote sites.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mining and infrastructure project execution from development through construction and commissioning.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks and overall project delivery.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction and operational interfaces.
• Oversee contractors, construction management and site activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Manage client relationships and reporting processes.
• Support commercial, contractual and strategic project decisions.
• Drive project performance and delivery objectives.
