Redtree LATAM in Buenos Aires is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical scope on thermal power generation projects for the U.S. market. You will own technical deliverables across conceptual, basic, and detailed design and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure compliance with US codes and client specs, and drive engineering solutions within a global, specialized team.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial or energy projects.
• Experience in process, mechanical, or piping engineering.
• Advanced English, spoken and written.
• Based in Buenos Aires or nearby area.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical, process, or piping scope on thermal power projects.
• Define design criteria, calculation methods, and standards.
• Develop and review datasheets, specs, calculations, equipment lists.
• Lead sizing and specification of mechanical equipment and piping.
• Direct P&ID development, heat/mass balance, and thermal calculations.
• Mentor semi-senior and junior engineers and review deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and other disciplines.
