Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to design and deliver production-grade web systems across frontend and backend. You will lead cross-team technical direction and ship accessible, high-performance experiences using TypeScript, React, and JVM-based backends.

You will own architecture, build APIs with gRPC/REST, model data in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL, and ensure reliability in AWS, containers, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years full-stack web engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Strong TypeScript and modern React experience including state management and performance optimization.
• Strong JVM backend experience with Kotlin or Java, or TypeScript for shared platform libraries.
• Hands-on gRPC and protobuf experience alongside HTTP and REST APIs.
• Solid DynamoDB and PostgreSQL data modeling experience for product features.
• Strong AWS, containers, and CI/CD consumer experience in production environments.
• Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end.
• Proven cross-team ownership and design leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with product and engineering partners.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
