Talan is seeking a Senior Developer to join a high-performing backend team for a Banking Industry project. The role requires 4+ years of hands-on experience with J2EE, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka, plus microservices, Java 8+, and TDD/BDD.

On-call rotation is mandatory, with a weekly cycle every few months. Remote work is available within Spain time zone, with a focus on collaboration across multicultural teams.

Qualifications

• Mandatory technical knowledge: 4+ years in a similar role.
• Advanced J2EE, Spring Boot and Apache Kafka expertise are mandatory.
• Microservices architecture, Spring Boot, FP, Java 8+, JPA, and TDD/BDD.
• Software design and architecture patterns.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• English proficiency: B2 or higher.
