Talan Spain is seeking a talented Java Backend Engineer to join its engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs within a modern microservices architecture, collaborating with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker and OpenShift.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.).
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Participate in the design, optimization, and maintenance of PostgreSQL database models.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications running on OpenShift.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers working with React to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards.
• Develop and execute unit tests and support continuous integration practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and proactively improve application performance, scalability, and security.
• Work collaboratively within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.
