Talan is seeking a Java Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs in a cloud-native environment. You will collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable applications.

In this role, you will work with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Docker, and OpenShift, ensuring code quality and secure deployments within an Agile setting. Remote within Spain time zone is supported.

Formación

• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on PostgreSQL design and queries.
• REST API design and development experience.
• Familiarity with Docker and OpenShift.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Java and Spring.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend.
• Model and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on OpenShift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile sprints.
• Write unit tests and support CI practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance.
