Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Engineering Team. You will own cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and system reliability with a strong focus on cloud-agnostic portability, Kubernetes administration, Infrastructure as Code, and automated CI/CD workflows.

You will work on GKE and Terraform, building modular infrastructure for GCP and other clouds, while managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and GHCR.

Qualifications

• Advanced hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes environments.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and IaC methodologies.
• Deep experience designing and maintaining deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with GitHub Container Registry (GHCR).
• Experience deploying and maintaining production Keycloak/IAM environments.
• Strong understanding of OIDC, identity management, authentication, and authorization concepts.
• Experience with secrets management and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with GCP/GKE and multi-cloud or cloud-agnostic infrastructure approaches.
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks (New Relic/Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry/ELK/Datadog).
• 4+ years of professional DevOps/SRE/platform-engineering experience.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines and managing IaC (Terraform/Pulumi/CloudFormation).
• Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) and container tooling (Docker/ArgoCD/Flux).
• Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash/Go) and comfort with at least one cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Kubernetes Administration: Deploy, manage, scale, and troubleshoot workloads on Kubernetes (GKE).
• Infrastructure as Code: Build cloud-agnostic infrastructure with Terraform for multiple clouds and on-premise.
• CI/CD Pipeline Ownership: Design and maintain reusable GitHub Actions workflows for tests, containerization, and deployment.
• Manage container images and deployment workflows using GHCR.
• IAM & Platform Deployment: Deploy, operate, and scale Keycloak clusters.
• Configure GitHub Workload Identity Federation for secure GitHub Actions to GCP access.
• Maintain secure secrets management practices.
• Evaluate deployment strategies including GitOps with ArgoCD or Flux.
• Contribute to reliability, scalability, security, and portability of the cloud platform.
