Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Geophysics or a related earth science discipline.
• 8+ years of experience as a Geophysicist in Oil & Gas exploration.
• Expertise in seismic interpretation software (Petrel, GeoGraphix, IHS Markit).
• Strong understanding of seismic acquisition, processing, and attribute analysis.
• Experience with reservoir characterization and prospect evaluation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead interpretation of 2D and 3D seismic data to identify structural and stratigraphic traps.
• Integrate seismic data with well logs, core data, and other geological information to build comprehensive subsurface models.
• Conduct geophysical feasibility studies and assist in the planning of seismic acquisition programs.
• Apply advanced seismic processing and interpretation techniques, including AVO analysis and inversion.
• Assess uncertainties associated with geophysical interpretations and communicate risks effectively.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for management and exploration teams.
