Ampstek is seeking an Automation Quality Engineer for our Buenos Aires location. This contract role targets mid to senior professionals with hands-on automation testing experience across API, UI, and end-to-end scenarios.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated scripts, integrating tests into CI/CD, and delivering quality metrics. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Test Automation for Mid-Level candidates; 6+ years preferred for Senior candidates.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with API testing and web application testing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience working with Jira or similar defect/project management tools.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and testing processes.
• Perform root-cause analysis for application and automation failures.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Generate and communicate test execution results, defects, risks, and quality metrics.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.

Automation Quality Engineer

Location: Argentina Office – 707 Plaza San Martin, Arenales, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with cloud-based applications and distributed systems.
