Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design and evolve production web systems with strong ownership across frontend and backend services. The role focuses on TypeScript/React UI, Kotlin-based backend, and data modeling in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL, while improving reliability and performance.

You will lead technical design discussions, collaborate across teams, and ensure quality through tests and clear release criteria in an AWS/containerized CI/CD environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production web systems.
• Strong TypeScript experience with React or a modern framework.
• Backend proficiency in Kotlin/Java with API design skills.
• Experience with gRPC, protobuf, HTTP/REST.
• Data modeling in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL.
• AWS experience in containerized CI/CD environments.

Responsibilities

• Design full-stack solutions that ship reliably to production.
• Build UI features with TypeScript/React and accessible patterns.
• Implement backend services with Kotlin on the JVM.
• Define interfaces using gRPC/protobuf and REST endpoints.
• Model data in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL to support features.
• Drive architecture decisions and cross-team alignment.
