AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain cloud-native applications using React on the frontend and Node.js and C# on the backend. You will design, develop, and optimize data solutions across SQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

This 6-month project engages in serverless and containerized AWS services, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD, with automated testing using Jest and Playwright.

Formación

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in React; solid experience with Node.js and C#.
• Deep expertise in SQL with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB; performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services (SQS, Lambda, ECS, CloudFront, EventBridge).
• Experience with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD; Jest and Playwright.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain cloud-native applications using React on the frontend and Node.js and C# on the backend. You will design, develop, and optimize data solutions across SQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB, with a strong focus on database performance, scalability, and reliability. You will also build serverless and containerized services across AWS, including Lambda, ECS, SQS, and EventBridge, write automated tests with Jest and Playwright, and maintain infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitLab. This is a 6-month project engagement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build and maintain full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and C#.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, data models, and database interactions across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Troubleshoot and improve database performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Build serverless and containerized AWS services using Lambda, ECS, SQS, EventBridge, and related AWS services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Write automated tests using Jest and Playwright to ensure application quality.
• Maintain infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitLab.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in React.
• Solid experience with both Node.js and C#.
• Deep expertise in SQL, including advanced querying, joins, aggregations, CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and AWS DynamoDB.
• Experience designing data models, troubleshooting database issues, and working with database‑intensive applications.
• Deep, hands‑on experience with core AWS services, including SQS, Lambda, ECS, CloudFront, ALB, and EventBridge.
• Experience with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with Jest and Playwright.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical leads and product managers.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer. Front-end: Strong proficiency in React. Backend: Solid experience with both Node.js and C#. Databases (High Priority): Deep expertise in SQL, including advanced querying, joins, aggregations, CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and performance tuning. Strong hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and AWS DynamoDB. Experience designing data models, troubleshooting database issues, and working with database‑intensive applications. Cloud (AWS): Deep, hands‑on experience with core AWS services, including SQS, Lambda, ECS, CloudFront, ALB, and EventBridge. DevOps/IaC: Experience with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD. Testing: Experience with Jest and Playwright (preferred, but secondary to strong database expertise). Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical leads and product managers.
