AgileEngine is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Software Engineer to support an AI training project focused on software development, debugging, code evaluation, and technical problem‑solving.

This is a remote contractor role ~15 hours per week, with flexible schedule and USD-based pay. The role blends frontend and backend work across React and Rails, turning wireframes into production features while collaborating with product, data science, and design teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building web applications using MVC frameworks (Rails or similar).
• 3+ years of SQL databases experience (PostgreSQL or equivalent).
• 3+ years of HTML/CSS and web styling experience.
• 3+ years converting wireframes into features.
• Experience with agile development and changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and build scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Staff Tech Leads to estimate and commit.
• Implement best practices to optimize the development process and efficiency.
• Communicate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, on status and risks.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation.
