The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is seeking a Senior Principal Architect to define and maintain the technical architecture for guest-facing digital platforms including web, mobile integrations, and APIs. You will set engineering standards, lead key technology decisions, and contribute hands-on full stack work roughly half of your time.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a principal, staff, or lead architect role.
• Expertise in React and Next.js for front-end development.
• Strong back-end skills in Node.js or Python and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Proven experience with cloud-hosted, production-scale applications (AWS).
• Experience defining and enforcing engineering standards.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code and DevOps.
• Experience integrating with CRM, CMS, booking systems, or CDPs.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain technical architecture for guest-facing digital platforms (web, mobile, APIs).
• Set engineering standards: conventions, reviews, branching, releases.
• Make key technology decisions with ADRs; document reasoning.
• Contribute hands-on full stack development (~50% time).
• Lead technical discovery for new features and integrations with specs and estimates.
• Review and approve pull requests with constructive feedback.
• Address technical debt and balance delivery with platform health.
• Evaluate third-party tools, APIs, and services.
• Act as escalation point for complex problems.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst to ensure feasibility and scope.
• Share knowledge through pairing and documentation.
