Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join a fast-growing U.S. fintech initiative focused on cross-border digital wallet features.

You will design and implement polished, production-grade interfaces, turning UX/UI designs into scalable, responsive applications and collaborating across product, design, and backend teams. You will leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development, work across frontend and backend boundaries, and help modernize core platform observability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications, digital wallets, or payment platforms.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, interaction design, and user-centered development.
• Proven track record of producing polished, production-ready user interfaces.
• Ability to translate UX/UI designs into functional applications from Figma specs.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot).
• Ability to deliver complete features across frontend and backend boundaries.
• Experience with REST APIs, third-party integrations, and BFF architectures.
• Experience working in Agile product development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs into functional, intuitive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to improve journeys and usability.
• Own features end to end from requirements through delivery.
• Use AI-assisted tools to speed up frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain BFF services supporting application needs.
• Implement API integrations and supporting backend functionality when needed.
• Ensure code quality, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Contribute to code reviews and development best practices.
• Explore AI-driven improvements to development workflows.
