Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join a US fintech project focused on cross-border payments. This frontend-first role emphasizes creating polished wallet features and a great user experience, turning UX/UI designs into production-ready code.

You will work remotely from LATAM, collaborate with product and design teams, and leverage AI-powered tools to speed development. The role requires ownership of features end-to-end and a hands-on approach to building scalable, accessible

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications, digital wallets, or payment platforms.
• Understanding of UX principles, usability, and user-centered development.
• Proven track record of production-ready UI.
• Ability to translate Figma designs into working apps.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Ability to deliver features across frontend and backend boundaries.
• Experience with REST APIs and BFF architectures.
• Knowledge of frontend architecture, components, and state management.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs and product requirements into functional, responsive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design to improve user journeys and usability.
• Own features end to end from requirements to delivery.
• Use AI-powered tools to speed frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain Backend for Frontend (BFF) services supporting app needs.
• Implement API integrations and backend functionality when needed.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.
• Explore AI-assisted improvements for development workflows.
