Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join a fast-growing U.S. fintech company focused on cross-border payments and a Digital Wallet product.

You will turn requirements into scalable frontend features, work across frontend and backend boundaries, and leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development. This is a remote, contractor role in LATAM with an emphasis on delivering production-ready UI, strong problem-solving, and independent execution.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications, digital wallets, or payment platforms.
• Proven track record of building polished, production-ready user interfaces.
• Experience turning Figma designs or equivalent UX/UI specifications into working applications.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs and requirements into functional, intuitive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to improve journeys and usability.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements through delivery.
• Use AI-powered tools to speed up frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain Backend for Frontend (BFF) services supporting app needs.
• Implement API integrations and backend functionality when needed.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.
• Find ways to simplify development workflows with AI-assisted engineering.
