Job summary

Darwoft, a fast-growing fintech software factory, seeks a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to build the Digital Wallet and related features for cross-border payments. You will turn UX/UI designs into scalable frontend solutions and collaborate across product, design, and backend teams in a remote LATAM setting.

The role emphasizes production-ready interfaces, AI-assisted coding, and end-to-end feature ownership, with a contractor-friendly USD arrangement.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications or digital wallets/payments.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability and interaction design.
• Proven track record of production-ready interfaces, turning designs into working apps.
• Experience with REST APIs and backend-for-frontend architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs into functional, responsive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to improve user journeys and usability.
• Own features end to end from requirements to delivery.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain BFF services supporting application requirements.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and improve development practices.
• Find ways to simplify development workflows with AI-assisted engineering.
