Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior Frontend / UX Engineer to join a fast‑growing U.S. fintech company. You will build and improve the Digital Wallet UI, turning designs into scalable, production-ready features with a focus on user experience.

Role involves frontend-first work, AI-assisted development, and collaboration with design and product teams. This is a full-time contractor position remote across LATAM.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building fintech applications, digital wallets, or payment platforms.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design.
• Proven track record of building polished, production-ready user interfaces.
• Experience turning Figma designs into working applications.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
• Ability to deliver features across frontend and backend boundaries.
• Experience with REST APIs and BFF architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces for a Digital Wallet.
• Translate UX/UI designs and requirements into functional, responsive applications.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to improve journeys and usability.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to delivery.
• Use AI-powered tools to speed frontend and full-stack development.
• Build and maintain BFF services supporting the app.
• Implement API integrations and backend functionality when needed.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability across the app.
• Participate in code reviews and raise development standards.
• Find ways to simplify development workflows with AI-assisted engineering.
