Job summary

EPAM Systems in Argentina seeks a Senior Financial Specialist to support a clear view of the company’s financial position and translate numbers into business context. Collaboration with internal partners fosters accountability and careful attention to detail in shaping the company’s future.

You will review monthly reports, assist with budget inputs and forecasts, and present insights to the Leadership Team using Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a similar field with strong financial fundamentals.
• Professional background of at least three years in finance or auditing.
• Ability to use Excel to evaluate spreadsheets, create data visualizations, and PivotTables.
• Knowledge of approaches and instruments used to analyze financial results.
• Strong ability to organize workload, communicate with stakeholders, and meet deadlines.
• Experience developing business-focused presentations with PowerPoint.
• Professional English language skills at B2 proficiency or higher.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial reporting and communicate material observations that support management action.

• Use P&L statements, variances, and benchmarks to evaluate performance and future outlook.
• Present monthly financial picture and business implications to Leadership Team.

• Develop purpose-built reports meeting corporate information requirements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve reporting processes.
• Advise stakeholders on financial considerations informing priorities and longer-term plans.

As a Senior Financial Specialist, you will help the organization maintain a clear and reliable view of its financial position. You will collaborate with a range of internal partners to translate financial information into meaningful business context. Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial reporting and communicate material observations that support management action
• Manage the collection and consolidation of inputs for budget development and periodic forecast updates
• Use profit and loss statements, variance comparisons, impact reviews, trend patterns, and peer benchmarks to evaluate current performance and future expectations
• Present the monthly financial picture and relevant business implications to the Leadership Team
• Serve as a point of contact for a corporate function requiring one-off analysis, reporting support, or financial consultation
• Develop purpose-built reports that meet the information requirements of a corporate function
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve the effectiveness of established reporting processes
• Advise stakeholders on financial considerations that inform operational priorities and longer-term plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a similar academic field that has built a strong understanding of financial fundamentals
• Professional background of at least three years in finance, auditing, or a closely connected area
• Ability to use Excel to evaluate spreadsheets, create data visualizations, organize information with PivotTables, and communicate key findings
• Knowledge of approaches and instruments used to analyze financial results
• Strong capability to organize workload, assess complex information, communicate with stakeholders, and meet deadlines
• Experience developing business-focused presentations through PowerPoint
• Professional English language skills at B2 proficiency or higher

Nice to have

• Ability to apply SQL, VBA, and Power BI to retrieve and process data, improve reporting processes, and deliver visual analytics
