Job summary

MAVI is hiring a Senior Finance Business Partner to join the in-house finance team for a high-growth US company, working remotely from Argentina. You will lead planning, forecasting, and act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, building key models yourself and guiding the team.

You will partner with executives on budgets and decisions, drive the annual plan, and coach analysts while ensuring timely planning with a strong emphasis on judgment and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to partner with an executive leader on the plan, the spend, and the trade-offs at a high-growth US company, working remotely from Argentina.

You will lead planning for your area, set the forecasting process others follow, and act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, while still building the most important models yourself.

What You'll Own

• Executive partnership. Act as the finance partner to an executive and their leadership team.
• Plan ownership. Own the function's annual plan and targets.
• Trade-offs. Push for trade-offs when plans and budgets don't add up.
• Analyst coaching. Coach business partners and analysts.
• Planning process. Run the budget and reforecast calendar for your area and hold stakeholders to it.
• Developing analysts. Review analysts' models and coach them on structure, assumptions, and storytelling.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical finance experience
• Experience leading a planning cycle and presenting to senior leadership
• Experience partnering with executives on budgets and decisions
• Experience with tools such as Adaptive, Pigment, or Anaplan
• Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification

Preferred

• CFA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or an MBA in Finance
• Experience leading a reforecast for a large function
• Experience using AI tools in finance workflows, with the judgment to review and correct AI-generated output

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote role with a single client company for the duration of the engagement. Full-time roles require a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (ET); part-time roles require a minimum of 2 hours.
