Monks is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support the financial management and performance of our client portfolio. You will partner with Account Management, Operations, and cross-functional teams to provide insights, forecasting, reporting, and strengthen financial controls.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, translating data into actionable business insights for finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Client Finance, Commercial Finance, Accounting, or related role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, revenue recognition, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets with the ability to work with and analyze large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue, costs, profitability, forecasting, and reporting for assigned clients.
• Prepare monthly revenue forecasts and communicate risks and opportunities to Finance leadership.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities including revenue recognition and reconciliations.
• Review project financials to ensure revenue and costs are recognized accurately.
• Partner with Account and Operations to monitor budgets and client profitability.
• Analyze actual performance against budget and provide explanations for variances.
• Monitor billing, accounts receivable, work-in-progress, and other balances.
• Assist with client rate cards, staffing plans, and financial models.
• Assist with client/project setup to ensure proper financial structures and controls.
• Prepare financial reporting and analyses for Finance and leadership.
• Support internal/external audit requests with accurate documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
