Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering with professional registration; 5–8 years in environmental management and permits; 3+ years in mining, energy or infrastructure in Argentina.
• Graduate degree in environmental management, environmental impact assessment or environmental law desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update the permits matrix with competent body, submission requirements and deadlines.
• Prepare Environmental Impact Report and biennial updates for provincial mining authority.
• Manage sectoral permits: water use, effluent, emissions, hazardous waste, soil movement, vegetation and transportation of hazardous substances.
• Maintain technical dialogue with authorities and report status to project management.
• Ensure environmental constraints are incorporated into design and construction planning.
