Job summary

Bechtel Argentina is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Field Manager) to lead environmental permit coordination and field management in San Juan. You will ensure regulatory compliance, translate requirements into design criteria and drive interfaces between engineering and authorities.

The role requires a university degree and 8–10 years in mining/infra EPC projects, strong English, and proven site leadership. Relocation support offered for a challenging, global project.

Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering or related field and professional registration in Argentina.
• 8–10 years of experience in environmental permits, mining, energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of local design regulations and EPC/M projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage obtaining, maintenance and monitoring of permits for the project in Argentina.
• Translate environmental and regulatory requirements into verifiable design criteria.
• Coordinate environmental studies, monitoring plans and regulatory reporting.
• Act as liaison between engineering disciplines and authorities to ensure schedule alignment.
