Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
• Proven High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction with technical assistance to craft and supervision and quality requirements.
• Provide construction engineering support for a discipline on large stand-alone projects.
• Provide construction engineering support for two or more disciplines on small to medium projects.
• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and supervision with regard to construction-related issues.
• Establish and maintain communication between the company and the design engineer for timely design documents and information.
• Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program when the quality function is the responsibility of the construction engineering department.
• Report the status of functions performed by the construction engineering department to project management.
• Other duties as assigned.
