Ciklum is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Argentina team. You will help architect and codify cloud estates on AWS and Azure, establish a world-class SRE and observability practice, and build an Internal Developer Platform with gold-standard templates for fast, safe, self-service software shipping.

You will be a founding team member working with Platform Engineering Manager to translate strategy into production infrastructure, drive adoption, and set the technical bar for platform

Formación

• 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps with production ownership on AWS and/or Azure.
• IaC: Deep OpenTofu/Terraform proficiency: module authoring, state management, workspace strategy, remotes, CI/CD integration; Terramate a plus.
• Kubernetes ops: EKS/AKS lifecycle, Helm, RBAC, network policies, autoscaling.
• Observability/SRE: two+ tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Datadog, OpenTelemetry) and SLIs/SLOs.
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions pipeline authoring & reusable workflows.
• GitOps: ArgoCD or Flux; modern delivery patterns.
• IDP: Backstage or equivalent developer portal.
• Security: policy-as-code, IaC scanning, secrets management, container hardening.
• SRE: chaos engineering, incident command, capacity planning.
• Service mesh: Istio or Linkerd.
• FinOps tooling and reserved capacity planning.
• AI/ML infra basics: LLM API integration or model serving.
• Certifications: AWS/Azure/CKA/CKAD/HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
• Python or Go for tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Migrate AWS/Azure infra to OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible; establish modules, remote state, GitOps pipelines.
• Audit cloud estate vs well-architected frameworks; drive remediation across networking, IAM, landing zones, cost governance.
• Implement policy-as-code to enforce security, tagging, and compliance at platform layer.
• Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for compute, networking, storage, databases, and identity as shared building blocks.
• Define FinOps standards: tagging taxonomy, cost dashboards, rightsizing, and reserved capacity across clouds.
• Design and implement full observability stack and SRE practices; establish SLIs/SLOs and alerting; run chaos experiments.
• Deploy and operate a developer portal (Backstage) as the single front door; service catalog and scaffolding templates.
• Own CI/CD platform layer: templates, workflows, image build/scan, environment promotion with SAST built in.
• Own Kubernetes platform operations: lifecycle, Helm, policies, RBAC, network policies, service mesh.
