Bluelightconsulting is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, operate, and improve a cloud infrastructure for a cybersecurity platform. You will work with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools, partnering closely with engineering, QA, and security teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform Engineering or similar.
• Hands-on production AWS experience.
• Strong Kubernetes/EKS management experience.
• Advanced Terraform and IaC experience.
• Docker and containerized environments expertise.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI.
• Linux administration and automation with Python/Bash.
• Observability stack knowledge (Prometheus/Grafana/CloudWatch/OpenSearch).
• Networking basics (VPCs, subnets, LB, DNS).
• Security best practices and cloud security focus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes/EKS.
• Create reliable CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI).
• Automate provisioning and deployment workflows.
• Improve observability and incident response capabilities.
• Maintain security posture and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with security, QA, and software teams to ship securely.
