Job summary

Bluelightconsulting is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate a scalable cloud infrastructure for a cybersecurity platform. You will work with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD while improving observability, security, and cost efficiency.

The role emphasizes platform engineering, ownership of production systems, and collaboration with Software Engineering, QA, Security, and IT teams to ship reliable software at scale.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles.
• Proven hands-on AWS experience.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes/EKS and IaC with Terraform.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux administration and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Security best practices and cloud cost optimization.
• Excellent collaboration with security, QA, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and manage Kubernetes/EKS workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Improve deployment processes, reliability, and developer experience across teams.
• Collaborate with Security to strengthen infrastructure security and compliance.
