Avenga in Argentina (Córdoba) seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to deploy and manage mission-critical banking apps. You will drive CI/CD, automation, and security across environments, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting deployments.

The role demands 5+ years in DevOps, strong scripting, and experience with Windows/Linux/AIX, Oracle/SQL, and cloud/CI tools. Fluency in Spanish and intermediate English required; banking exposure is a plus.

Formación

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with production apps.
• Strong Windows/Linux/AIX/IIS and AD, with Oracle/SQL Server/SQL.
• CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps and Jenkins; Git usage.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Spanish fluent; English intermediate; advanced studies in a related field.
• Banking/regulated environments experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Execute deployment, configuration, and validation across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Participate in Release Management: planning, coordination, monitoring, and execution of releases.
• Validate environment readiness and operational status before and after deployments.
• Provide hands-on support during deployment windows and post-deployment stabilization.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and analyze incidents related to applications, infrastructure, and deployments.
• Collaborate to automate deployment activities and improve delivery processes.
• Implement remediation actions from security audits or testing.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure traceability of changes.
• Support stability, reliability, and security of banking systems.

In Argentina (Córdoba), we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a banking-sector client and play a key role in deploying and managing mission-critical applications. This position requires strong expertise in infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD practices to ensure stability, scalability, and security across environments.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide technical support during deployments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in DevOps processes.

This is you

• 5+ years of DevOps experience supporting and releasing production-critical applications, including incident troubleshooting and technical support;
• Strong administration knowledge across Windows Server, Linux, AIX, IIS, and basic Active Directory, with working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and SQL;
• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, and communications;
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins, plus Git/version-control practices;
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to follow controlled procedures during critical implementations;
• Collaborative, proactive, and results-driven, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams;
• Advanced student or graduate in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Fluent in Spanish and intermediate English proficiency.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Containerization and orchestration with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift;
• Web infrastructure and networking: Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and digital certificates;
• Cloud and CI/CD experience with Azure and/or AWS, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure automation;
• Interest or experience in applying AI to technology or operational processes;
• Background in banking, fintech, or other mission-critical, highly regulated environments.

This is your role

• Execute application and infrastructure deployment, configuration, and validation activities across Development, QA, and Production environments;
