Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of platform engineering and data infrastructure. You will own the reliability, automation, and delivery of systems powering Proofpoint's data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You'll build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to enable data teams to ship high-quality data products faster, securely, and reliably.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE, with 2+ years in data engineering.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, Athena, S3) and Data Catalogs.
• Proficiency with IaC tools: Terraform and/or AWS CDK; experience with CI/CD tooling.
• Strong CI/CD experience and container orchestration knowledge.
• Ability to design observability (metrics, logs, tracing) for data/platform services.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infra and ETL jobs.
• Build and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure (S3, Glue, Athena, MWAA).
• Own observability stack and incident response for data pipelines.
• Develop DataOps self-service tooling and reusable templates.
• Collaborate with data, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable infra.
