Livefront is seeking a senior Databricks Data Engineer to join our growing data practice. This role offers the opportunity to design and build data platforms powering production ML, AI workflows, and modern digital products with remote work in Peru.

You will own end-to-end ingestion, transformation, governance using Lakeflow, Autoloader, Structured Streaming, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog, partnering with product and backend teams across AWS and Azure.

Formación

• Databricks platform skills and production experience.
• Experience with data Lakehouse architectures and governance.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build production data pipelines using Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines, Autoloader, and Structured Streaming.
• Architect and implement Lakehouse solutions on Databricks — medallion architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
• Build and maintain Databricks transformation layers — DLT pipelines, PySpark notebooks, and dbt.
• Design and maintain the data and AI foundations — Unity Catalog, Feature Store, MLflow, and Model Serving.
• Collaborate with product and backend engineers to design data models, APIs, and application data contracts.
• Consult with clients to understand data challenges, develop data strategies, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Adapt your approach based on project needs — leading data architecture discussions or supporting internal teams.
• Work within multi-cloud environments — AWS and Azure — anchored around Databricks.
• Champion data governance through Unity Catalog — access control, lineage, data quality policies, and compliance.
• Design data-to-application architectures connecting governed data to AI workflows and digital products.
