SecurityScorecard is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance our cybersecurity ratings platform. You will build and deploy ML models for risk scoring, threat intelligence, and vendor risk assessment, collaborating with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires an advanced degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in data science, and strong Python and ML framework skills. Familiarity with cloud pipelines and deployment is highly valued.

Formación

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., CS, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent experience applying data science.
• 5+ years of experience applying data science and ML to real-world challenges.
• Proficient in Python and ML/data science frameworks (scikit-learn, XGBoost, MLFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with cloud-based data pipelines (AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms, evaluation metrics, and model deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Build, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for risk scoring, threat intelligence, and vendor risk assessment.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large datasets.
• Evaluate and validate models for accuracy, robustness, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define DS requirements and productionize models.
• Contribute to code reviews and data science best practices.
• Stay current on new research and technologies to apply state-of-the-art methods.
• Communicate findings clearly to tech and non-technical audiences.
