AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to architect and build automated security layers within the SDLC, focusing on AI-enabled secure code scanning and CI/CD security tooling integration for a large-scale financial services program. You will work mainly in Python, building runbooks and providing code-level remediation guidance.

This role requires 5+ years of software engineering with AppSec and DevSecOps, strong Python, autonomous execution, and upper-intermediate

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with focus on Application Security and DevSecOps.
• Strong Python coding for security automation and scripting.
• Fully autonomous execution capability, requiring no daily supervision to map out and build automated security runbooks.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities.
• Automate the development of secure coding patterns and integrate them with SDLC workflows.
• Architect the integration of continuous security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) into enterprise CI/CD pipelines, tuning them to eliminate noise.
• Review complex application code (Java/Python) to provide code-level remediation guidance to developers.
