Svitla Systems, Inc. is seeking aSenior Data Platform Engineer for a full-time remote role serving LATAM. You will design and scale data platforms, implement experimentation tooling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in platform engineering, production coding in Python/Go/Scala or Java, and experience with RBAC and Iceberg-based data warehouses. Remote work flexibility and growth opportunities are offered.

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week), fully remote in LATAM. Our client is an online personal styling service that leverages advanced AI, machine learning, and expert stylists to deliver personalized clothing recommendations. As a data-driven retail platform, it combines technology and human insight to transform how people discover and shop for clothing.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of work experience in platform engineering, including experience with experimentation platforms.
• Production-level coding experience in Python, Go, and Scala or Java.
• Experience building and supporting RBAC systems used by enterprise-wide teams.
• Experience supporting Iceberg-based data warehouses.

Will be a plus

• Experience with Databricks or AWS Glue.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and promote tooling, approaches, and data products that raise the bar for validity in experiment design and analyses across the company.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and functions to deliver deep-dive analyses and experiment design for new initiatives and high-priority business areas.
• Develop and iterate on processes that enable more efficient and rigorous experimentation.
