Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, connectors, and integrations for a remote LATAM role. You will ingest data from diverse sources, build reliable pipelines, and collaborate with customers to design scalable ingestion solutions across cloud platforms.

Proficiency in Python and Go, plus Docker/Kubernetes, is required. This role emphasizes enterprise-grade integration and security-aware data flows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/data engineering or related fields.
• Proficient in Python and Go development.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on with data ingestion pipelines and integrations.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• Production cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• Solid Git/CI-CD practices.
• Excellent customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SIEMs and network tools.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, and constraints.
• Drive onboarding from discovery to production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume security data.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven patterns, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services with Python and Go; work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Containerize services with Docker and Kubernetes; deploy on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments and optimize performance and reliability.
• Partner with architects, sales engineering, CS, product, and engineering.
