Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to focus on data ingestion, integrations, and collector development for a cloud-based identity security platform. You will partner with customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines, connect diverse data sources, and ensure secure, reliable production deployments.

You will work with Python/Go backend services, REST APIs, and modern cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP while collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software/data engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and Go development.
• Strong REST API design and consumption skills.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and integrations.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Docker and Kubernetes production experience.
• Git workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work with customers and translate requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, SIEMs.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and security requirements.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data such as security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go and work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes; deploy across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployments and optimize performance and reliability.
