Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a 100% remote LATAM role. You will work directly with enterprise customers to ingest data from diverse sources into a cybersecurity platform.

The role combines data engineering, software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and technical consulting to deliver scalable ingestion solutions. Strong Python/Go, REST APIs, and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data/platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development experience.
• Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines, connectors, or integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid SQL and NoSQL knowledge.
• Production experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to design reliable, scalable distributed systems.
• Strong debugging across APIs, infra, networking, data pipelines.
• Experience working with customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and autonomous problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources across identities, clouds, networks, endpoints, and apps.
• Engage with customers to understand environments, data flows, and constraints.
• Lead onboarding from discovery to production deployment.
• Create scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data sources.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services primarily in Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment issues across layers.
• Collaborate with Architects, Sales Eng, Customer Success, Product, Eng.
• Contribute customer-driven improvements to the roadmap.
