Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Python/Go) for a data ingestion focus within an Identity Security platform. You will design connectors and ingestion pipelines, work with enterprise data sources, and collaborate closely with customers to ensure reliable, scalable deployments in cloud environments.

This remote role spans LATAM and involves hands-on engineering, architecture design, and deployment across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipeline and integration experience.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to design reliable, scalable distributed systems.
• Strong debugging across APIs, infra, networks, and data pipelines.
• Customer-facing collaboration and requirement translation skills.
• Autonomy and ownership in solving ambiguous problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and security tools.
• Engage with customers to understand environments, data flows, and integration constraints.
• Lead onboarding from discovery to production deployment.
• Build scalable ingestion architectures for security events and high-volume data.
• Develop backend services with Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases for data storage and analysis.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
