Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Python/Go) focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to join a cybersecurity platform. You will design and implement scalable ingestion pipelines, connectors, and services while collaborating with customers to understand data sources and security requirements.

This role blends data engineering, software engineering, architecture, and cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a 100% remote LATAM setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software/data/platform engineering or related fields.
• Strong Python and Go experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and data ingestion pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, security systems, and SIEMs.
• Work directly with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, from discovery to production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing security events, logs, and identity activity.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store and analyze high-volume data.
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot complex customer deployments across multiple layers.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on data architecture and integration best practices.
• Identify recurring requirements and create reusable connectors or platform improvements.
