Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on Data Ingestion, Integrations, and Collectors to bridge customers and engineering. You will design scalable ingestion pipelines, ingest data from complex enterprise environments, and work across cloud platforms.

This role combines data engineering, software engineering, solution architecture, cloud infrastructure, and technical consulting to deliver reliable, production-ready connectors and services for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/ data engineering experience.
• Strong software development experience with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion services and connectors.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and security systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, architecture design, and production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs and cloud-native services.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Troubleshoot deployments across APIs, infrastructure, and data layers.
• Improve ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with architects, sales engineering, and product teams.
• Translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
