Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain automated data transformation pipelines across diverse storage and compute technologies. You will work with IT and business stakeholders to ensure data accessibility, quality, and security, leveraging Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, Java, and CI/CD practices.

Relocation may be considered; expatriate visas are not sponsored.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field.
• +5 years as Data Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, and related tools.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Understand business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support processes and objectives.
• Leverage data, software engineering, and data science to create value via data accessibility.
• Identify, acquire, cleanse & prepare, store data and develop data products per architecture patterns.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources.

• Collaborate with ML Engineers to scale and deploy solutions including model and docs.
• Contribute to internal tools and deployment of technical services.
