Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a Data Engineer to deploy and maintain automated data transformation pipelines across diverse storage and compute technologies in support of data architecture design.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering and expertise with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python/Java, and CI/CD practices. Relocation may be considered for the right candidate.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineer or related field or equivalent experience.
• +5 years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with data acquisition, preparation, validation, movement and transformation; analytics solution architecture; big data computing; cloud computing; information security tech.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python/Java, CI/CD pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.

• Leverage data, software engineering, and data science techniques to create business value through data accessibility, including ingestion, preparation and analytics processing.
• Identify, acquire, cleanse, prepare, store data and develop data products aligned with defined architecture patterns.

• Enable data scientists by making data available for analytics models and contributing to models.
• Collaborate with ML Engineer to scale and deploy solutions, including documentation and training.
• Contribute to internal tools and deployment of technical services.
