Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is hiring a Data Engineer to design and maintain automated data pipelines using a range of storage and compute technologies. The role supports data architecture and enables analytics across the organization.

Responsibilities include data ingestion, preparation, validation, and providing data products for analytics, while collaborating with ML engineers to scale models and ensure data accessibility for business objectives.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field.
• +5 years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and Java; familiarity with Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Data Flows.
• Knowledge of data acquisition, preparation, validation, movement and transformation; analytics solution architecture; big data computing; information security technologies.
