Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Python/Go) focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a security-focused platform. You will work remotely with LATAM-based enterprise customers, guiding ingestion pipelines across cloud, on-prem, and SaaS environments.

You will design connectors, ingest large data volumes (events/logs/telemetry), and collaborate with architects, security teams, and success engineers to ensure scalable, reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years of professional software/data engineering or related experience.
• Strong background in Python and/or Go.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and connector frameworks.
• Proficient with REST APIs and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services for enterprise data sources.
• Integrate identity providers, cloud platforms, SIEMs, and security tools into the ingestion layer.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments and data flows for integration.
• Build scalable, reliable ingestion architectures for high-volume data (security events, logs, telemetry).
• Develop backend services mainly with Python and/or Go and containerize them with Docker/Kubernetes.
