Endava is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead replacing a third-party digital ingestion tool with a custom ETL pipeline in an existing AWS environment. You will document current logic, evaluate build-vs-buy options such as Fivetran, and build a standalone pipeline to power client dashboards.

The role emphasizes strong SQL and DSP data experience, plus collaboration with data science teams to ensure ingestion aligns with attribution and scoring models across our platform.

Formación

• 4+ years of SQL and large-scale data ingestion/pipeline experience (ETL, batch, orchestration).
• Direct or adjacent experience with digital advertising / DSP data (e.g., Amazon DSP).
• Working knowledge of AWS data services (RDS/Postgres, S3, ECS).
• Ability to contribute to application and backend work beyond ETL.
• Familiarity with managed ELT tools (such as Fivetran) vs custom builds.
• Ability to ramp into attribution and scoring logic for downstream dashboards.

Responsabilidades

• Document current ingestion logic inside the legacy tool (TapClicks).
• Build the ETL pipeline to replace the legacy system for data sources including Amazon API and DSP platforms.
• Evaluate off-the-shelf vs custom-built ETL solutions with Infrastructure Lead.
• Design the pipeline as a standalone system powering client dashboards.
• Provide flexible engineering support within the AWS environment.
• Coordinate with data science teams to align ingestion with attribution and scoring logic.
• Work within AWS environment (ECS, S3, RDS) rather than stand up parallel infra.
