AgileEngine seeks a Senior Data Engineer to lead replacing a third-party ingestion tool with a custom ETL pipeline in our AWS environment. You will document logic, evaluate build-vs-buy options like Fivetran, and own a standalone pipeline powering client dashboards.

You will work with the data science teams to align ingestion outputs with attribution and scoring for downstream models, in a fast-growing AWS-centric setup with ECS, S3, and RDS. Fluent English required.

Formación

• 4+ years of SQL and large-scale data ingestion/pipeline experience.
• Experience with digital advertising / DSP data in production.
• Familiarity with AWS data services and cloud deployments.
• Ability to contribute to backend work beyond ETL.
• Ability to evaluate ELT tools against custom builds (e.g., Fivetran).
• Experience aligning ingestion outputs with downstream models.
• Upper-intermediate English level required.

Responsabilidades

• Document current ingestion logic in the legacy TapClicks tool, including sources, endpoints, schemas, and transformations.
• Build an ETL pipeline to replace the legacy system, ingesting from Amazon API and DSP data sources.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy options (e.g., Fivetran) with Infrastructure Lead.
• Design the pipeline as a standalone owned system powering client dashboards.
• Provide backend support within the AWS environment as needed.
• Coordinate with data science teams to align ingestion outputs with attribution and scoring logic.
• Work within the existing AWS stack (ECS, S3, RDS) rather than stand up parallel infra.
